JacLynn Herron, author of Singing Solo: In Search of a Voice for Mom and Rewriting Marguerite

JacLynn Herron (Jackie), mother of two adult daughters, lives in New Brighton, Minnesota, with her husband Tom. Raised and educated in Minnesota, first in Crookston and later in White Bear Lake, she graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, with a BS degree in Home Economics Education. Jackie taught in Fridley, Minnesota, and at Irondale High School in New Brighton, Minnesota. She is a member of the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a supportive writing community. She is also active in P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization that promotes educational opportunities for women.
